Postcards from the edge
Dear Marc, I finally bought the boots (see, you can buy them on sale now!). I've never loved a pair of boots like I love these. Feel the love streaming from this end consumer. It's real. So what if it's superficial love, it was funded by superficial deeds. I wrote one article on celebrity tattoos and one about grown ups and toys to pay for my boots.
It's late November. Winter came, then changed her mind. It's not that cold, but it's very dark. At the office, the daylight lamps were in use to save us from darkness induced depression, so common in this part of the world. I have new boots. Darkness doesn't bother me.
Then I took Vanja to see the dentist.
I swear, even going to the dentist was a joy wearing new boots.
love

Mihihi! Cute picture of a cute girl at the dentist´s. Altough it might be wise to buy her a pair of larger socks! ; )
Love your writing and this blog, keep it up!
Hahaha. Those are actually pantyhose or tights or whatever you call them. They're too big, not too small. She'll grow into them.
Congratulations. :)
Is going to the dentist without shoes a Swedish custom?
I couldn't stop her!
Your posts are so cool and wonderful! You deserve all the boots you want fitting or not and more and lots of happiness and luck and your addressee getting in touch with you trying to match you by putting so much into-what?-a few lines or wearable boots?
Galina
What fantastic boots! Congratulations! I notice they are out of stock now too.
Usually a trip to the dentist would cost about the same as a pair of boots.
I'll take this one lol: going to the dentist is free of charge in Sweden up 'til the age of 19... or is it 20? Still... it's free.
Love the boots and love the daylights. I think I need those here in New England in the winter as well - going to work in the dark, working in a windowless office, driving home in the dark. It's enough to drive one to drink. :-)
That is just ace. We would have to choose teeth or feet! And of course the feet win every time!
regarding vanjas dentist: if i'm not mistaken that's my dentist as well! madam marianne k right?
remember sometime pre-2000 when you recommended me to folktandvården i lidingö? well, i haven't stopped going there since. every other year or so anyway.
that lovely old lady is the only person that i'll ever allow to come near my theeth with extremely sharp and pointy objects.
